Sharpen the why before you plan the what.
Before a strategic plan can earn a funder's dollar, it has to earn its own clarity. Module 01 strips your vision and mission down to language a board, a staff, and a stranger can all repeat.
Foundational talk on naming the why before the what.
Vision: All New Hampshire residents enjoy health and quality of life through healthy eating and active living. Mission: Work in collaboration with our partners to inspire, advance and support policies, systems and environmental changes to promote healthy people in healthy places throughout New Hampshire.
What to copy: HEAL's vision names a future state in one sentence. Their mission names the change (policy, systems, environments), the who (NH residents), and the how (in collaboration with partners). That is the shape your Module 01 output should take.
